Set Minimum in Tour

Overview

This article explains how to set minimum in the tour’s price season screen for both new and existing tour. Once the tour minimum has been added to tour and booked in the reservation, if the reservation has deposit charged at the time of the reservation, the remaining balance of reservation will be charged once the tour minimum has met.  Also, the email confirmation of reservation will indicate that the tour minimum has not met.  The system will send another email to those who book the reservation when the minimum has met and the credit card charged.  

Note: Before you can use the tour minimum feature, you need to enable the feature in settings. Once the Minimum is set in the Tour Price Season, it cannot be changed.  Tours with minimum settings can’t share an inventory with other tours.

Set Minimum in New Tour

  1. On the left menu bar, click on Tour > Create Advance Tour (or Create Standard Tour)
  2. under Season Price tab, Click Create New Season
  3. Check on Require a minimum number of participants to run this tour and select count of number in the drop down
  4. Click on Save to save season price
  5. Click on Save to save the Tour

Set Tour Minimum In Existing Tour

    1. On the left menu bar, click on Tour > Tour List
    2. Click on Edit beside the tour you want to set tour minimum
    3. Click on Price Season tab
    4. Click on Edit on the season you want to set tour minimum
    5. Check on Require a minimum number of participants to run this tour and select count of number in the drop down
    6. Click on Save to save sason price
