Custom Field – Setup

Overview

This Custom field feature allows you create (up to 10) pairs of questions-answers that you can add it to the tour as option. For example, if a tour offers item that has size or color selection as part of tour and you want to let customer select the size (S, M, L, etc) or color selections, you can create custom field for size and color and add it to the tour. The custom field also can be a questions you want customer to answer such as “What is your height?” and it can be mandatory or not.

Enable (or Add) Custom Field

  1. On the left menu bar, click on Settings > General Settings
  2. Click on Add right next to custom field
  3. Enter the name of custom field in the Name of custom choice field
  4. Check or uncheck the Mandatory if this question must answer (required)
  5. Display Order lets you set the order of questions to be displayed if you have multiple questions, 1 will be topmost, 2 will be second, etc
  6. Choose Type of the form of the answer you want user to answer your question
    1. Pull down list – this allows you to pre-populate the list of available answers for customer to select (i.e. S, M, L, XL for size). 
      1. To add available selections, simply type in “Answer to custom choice field” and click on Add. Repeat the steps to add as many answers you want. 
      2. To change selection wording, click on the Delete, and re-add the new entry 
      3. To remove the selection, click on Delete next to the selection you want to remove
    2. Enter Text – this allows user to answer question by typing the texts in the text field
  7. Click on Save

Modify Existing Custom Field

  1. On the left menu bar, click on Settings > General Settings
  2. Click on  the Modify in front of the question title right next to the custom fields
  3. Make any changes (see add custom field above for explanations of each fields)
  4. Click on Save

Delete Existing Custom Field

  1. On the left menu bar, click on Settings > General Settings
  2. Click on  the Modify in front of the question title right next to the custom fields
  3. Click on Delete

NOTE: Existing Custom field cannot be deleted if it has been added to the tour.
