Canceling Gift Certificates

Important: A Gift Certificate is a Non-Cancelable item. If you should need to refund a Gift Certificate you will need to process the refund manually through your Credit Card processor account (if within the allowed time limit) or process a refund by check and updating the Reservation with a Reservation Note with the refund details. You should then update the Gift Certificate status to Inactive to assure that it cannot be used in the future.

To change a Gift Certificate status to inactive:

  1. On left menu bar, click on Report > Gift Certificate
  2. Enter Purchaser’s Last Name or Code to locate the gift certificate you want to make it inactive
  3. Click Search
  4. Click the Inactive to change the status of the Gift Certificate
  5. Click OK
