AttractionSuite has been working with boating companies for several years now. We are good friends with the local New England whale watches and work with sightseeing cruises as far away as Alaska! Now, we have broadened the horizon by engaging with local businesses who mainly provide fishing charters.
We are proud to introduce a new client, Reel Ezee Fish’n, of Truro, Massachusetts. Captain Joe Francis and first mate, Robert Gabriel, have been a pleasure to work with and now are live and taking online reservations. They are ready for their 2016 season with a new website and booking engine. The Nauset, their boat, is ready to set sail.
When we worked with Captain Joe to find out if AttractionSuite was indeed the system he was searching for, he particularly noticed the Stake Your Claim feature, which programs AttractionSuite to automatically block out a departure should another specified departure be booked first. This is instrumental for a business owner who has only one boat, but would like to offer multiple trips at varying duration throughout the day. If someone books his morning trip online, the full day option takes itself off the calendar and prevents over-booking.
Reel Ezee was also happy that the ability to add your own style to the online calendar made it easy to keep cohesion with their brand new website redesign.
AttractionSuite has turned out to be just what these two business partners were searching for. A simple system that automates their online transactions, so they can stay on the boat.
Our VP, Tanni Kuo Ph.D., has been making friends with many of the local fishing captains. In April, we presented our software to the Stellwagon Bank Charter Boat Association. We are making many new friends in the charter business.

We also wanted to be sure that you are able to navigate the site so you can still log into your calendar and reach our support team. Keep reading to find out how to continue business as usual.
When you first go to http://www.attractionsuite.com next week, you will see a dramatic change in layout and feel. We hope that it excites you about what you do for a living! Our design team strove to bring out the fun in your business. We exiled the corporate look and went for laid back with a side of thrilling.
Of course, we wanted to provide information for potential customers, but also kept our current customers in mind. On the new navigation bar, you have your own tab. It is labeled “Current Users.” When you hover your mouse over that label, you will see your options. They are to log into AttractionSuite (same way as always), pay your invoice on the same pay form, and to reach our support team.
Only the Support page has changed.
Here you can find all our up-to-date contact info. In addition, there is a form where you can submit a question that goes straight to the help desk.

The AttractionSuite team has just released our newest feature to help our customers with large summer volume.
The check-in app will help speed things up with just a cell phone. Customers simply bring their printed tickets with either a bar code or QR code. The cell phones will read the code to automatically sync with your AttractionSuite account and show that guest as checked in. No more bringing a laptop with you to the booth. No need to type in the reservation number.

1. Log in the same way you log into AttractionSuite on your computer.
2. Instantly see a list of tours for that date.
3. You can search for your desired time and date in the upper blue bar.
4. See a real-time counter of guests already checked in vs still waiting.
5. Select the Scan icon and get started!
Great for attractions with 20 guests or more at a time. Keep track of everyone and make life easier!
The AttractionSuite team wants to make sure you are prepared to have some automatic marketing going on throughout the 2016 season. Check out our list of tips for easy ways to market your attraction…and it won’t cost you a thing!
1. Get a Book Now button on your Facebook page
On the largest social network on the Internet, there is no better way to reach people 24/7. People who find your Facebook business
page can now book by clicking a button that can link to your AttractionSuite calendar. Extra tip: videos and photos will rank you higher and help you get on other people’s news feed. Once they watch a great video, they will click that booking button and buy a ticket. See the video here.
2. Put TripAdvisor reviews on your tour pages
We sent out an email on this one awhile ago. We wanted to keep letting our customers know so they can still take full advantage of this feature if they haven’t already. Log into your TripAdvisor profile and copy your Location ID (a seven-digit code) and paste it at the bottom of your AttractionSuite General Settings page. Now customers can see your
reviews without leaving your site and won’t see your competition in the list. It gives them that last little push they need to buy tickets and know they are getting their money’s worth. See the video here.
3. Get customers to post on social pages
So your customer just had a great time at your attraction. They check their cell and see that they received a thank you email from you. They are so thrilled with their experience that they click on one of your social media icons at the end of the email and post their review on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. This one can be tricky, but so worth it! 4. Email all your past customers
Again, you might need Sierra’s or my help on this one. But just ask and we can pull all the emails of your previous customers. Let us know how far back in time you want to go (ex. Jan 2015 – Dec 2015) and we will email that as an excel to you. Then just sign up for a free account on and you can create your own professional-looking email to send to all the emails at once. The free MailChimp account is good for up to 2000 emails. Call us if you want someone to walk you through it. We are proud users of a paid MailChimp account. See the video here.
5. Reward your customers with a discount upon returning
Nothing is worse than having a coupon for something and then not using it. This is exactly what your visitors will think when you send them a coupon code in your thank-you-for-coming email. They can enter this code into AttractionSuite by a certain date and receive that discount. Odds are, if they enjoyed themselves and want to come back, they will bring new customers with them to share the experience. See the video here.
